Love Versus Infatuation

By Emmanuel Abazu

Finally, you have met him or her. You know what I mean, the one. All your life, or so it seems, you have been waiting for the person who made your heart pound, made the stars bright, and taken over all reasonable thought processes with ideas of making love on every beach from here to Tahiti.

You have a weird expression on your face, food suddenly seems like a mere inconvenience and sleep is just something you used to do. Your friends tease you about being in love. Your mother WARNS you about being in love.

Of course, you’re not stupid. You’ve been around (more than Mom knows about), and you have spent time in meditation/therapy having explored your own needs in the world. You want a soul mate but this guy/gal is just so sexy that it’s hard to imagine introducing him/her to your parents at all.

Focus On Whats Most Important

 By: Emmanuel Abazu

It seems the world is moving faster and faster these days. You constantly have information streaming to you from people in the office, meetings, email, voice messages, texts. You're trying to keep on top of it all and it can sometimes feel practically impossible.

So what do you do? Begin by determining what's really important to get done. Separate what's important from what's just urgent.

Don't Get Caught in the "Urgency Trap"

The problem with all the technological resources we have for communication is that they are making everything seem urgent. It can be very tempting to get caught up in it and spend most of your day responding to email instead of focusing on what's really important.

Tortoise & Hare - Who Won the Race?

By: Emmanuel Abazu

Learning about Teamwork & Leadership
Once upon a time a tortoise and a hare had an argument about who was faster. They decided to settle the argument with a race. They agreed on a route and started off the race.

The hare shot ahead and ran briskly for some time. Then seeing that he was far ahead of the tortoise, he thought he'd sit under a tree for some time and relax before continuing the race. He sat under the tree and soon fell asleep. The tortoise, plodding on, overtook him and soon finished the race, emerging as the undisputed champ. The hare woke up and realized that he'd lost the race.

Reason Why Some Ladies Will Never Marry

BY: Oba Praise Debola

1.Many ladies will end up singles for life because of media exposure: It is so disheartening how a lady will glue her eyes on a mobile phone from morning to night, only to raise it up to focus on television to watch another celebrity entertainment channel. Tell me, what else will dominate this lady’s mindset if it’s not how to live a fake celebrity life being promoted on television channels?

Learning About Modeling (For Aspirers) 3

PREPARING FOR PHOTO SHOOT

By: Emmanuel Abazu

Practice – Practice – Practice!
Even top models spend time in front of the mirror– practicing expressions and poses to prepare for a photo shoot.

It is important to know how your face feels when you smile, or laugh, or frown, or pout. It is important to know how your body feels when it is posed in an attractive manner.
Practice facial expressions in front of the mirror – learn how your face feels with a perfect smile – no gums, eyes open – not squinting. Practice your poses in front of a mirror – while naked.
Yes – it says “naked”. With clothes on you have pockets, collars, etc. to “hang on” to. Without clothes – you have to learn how to place your hands and make them look attractive.
