Live Long As You Laugh At Life

By: Emmanuel Abazu

"A smile is a curve that sets everything straight." ~ Phyllis Diller

As Reader's Digest says, "Laughter is the best medicine." Our health and our lives can only improve as we learn to laugh more often and more easily at ourselves and at the quirks that life brings us daily.
I have also been intrigued with how humor can shift our perspective and support a leap in consciousness. I've been gathering jokes that reflect our awareness journey through life. Enjoy this sampling, for as Mary Pettibone Poole said,

"He who laughs last"

It is never too late to commit to your own inner journey.
"I couldn't wait for success, so I went ahead without it." -- Jonathan Winters

"I have always wanted to be somebody, but I see now I should have been more specific." -- Lily Tomlin

"The hardest years in life are those between 10 and 70." -- Helen Hayes (at 73)
Intuition and psychic skills grow as we do.

When two psychic friends met, one said, "You are fine. How am I?"

"I almost had a psychic girlfriend -- she left me before I met her".

We all have important inner challenges to work on.
Growth is a life-long process.

"All men make mistakes, but married men find out about them sooner." -- Red Skelton

"If you think are you are enlightened, go and spend a week with your parents." -- Ram Dass
Adult Children of Normal Parents rented a large auditorium for a major conference and only 2 people showed up.

Learn how to idealize and create what you need and want.

During a deadly drought season a preacher called his congregation together to pray for rain. At the gathering he commented, "Not one of you believes - no one brought an umbrella."

I married Miss Right. I just didn't know her first name was Always.
I'm always watching for jokes that can lighten our way to higher consciousness. Please send any my way so I can share them.

"At the height of laughter, the universe is flung into a kaleidoscope of new possibilities." ~ Jean Houston

"Life is too important to take seriously." ~ Oscar Wilde
